My hot water cylinder is only a few years old and has been working perfectly until last night when it went cold after a few showers. This morning the hot water was still cold and upon checking the fuse box, noticed the safety switch was in the off position and when I tried to reset it, it kept tripping out. The unit is a 125ltr Aquamax approx 2-3 yrs old. PS. I've just checked the safety switch again and it hasn't switched off for approx.15min but would still like someone to check it over also also is it normal that after 4 x 3min showers the hot water goes cold? The gfenerous Energex electrician reconnected it so we could... This position, now interferes with the guttering, so we need someone to reposition and reconnect the power properly.
