In-situ rewiring of an 8 pin din plug

Andrew requested 3 quotes from Electricians in Heathcote

I have an old Jason electric recliner that uses 8 pin DIN plugs to connect to a 12V transformer powering an actuator to recline and also lift the seat.
Due to age the DIN plug for the actuator mechanism has corroded and requires replacing.
I made a wiring diagram when I took the old plug off so know where each pin goes but the work is too fiddly for me. One wire to 2 pins in two cases and each of the other 4 pins have one wire each.
I bought 2 new 8 pin Din plugs (1 as a spare in case I messed up...which I have) and have been trying to solder each wire to the appropriate pin but it is too fiddly for me and a little awkward as it appears quite difficult to remove the actuator from the chair.
It would be a quick job for someone experienced and nimble enough with soldering small connections such as DIN plugs (maybe PCB boards?).
The job needs to be done in situ in my home.
