I'm getting my old house (1950ish) ready for sale. Don't have time or $$ to completely rewire but want to replace all old switches (lights/powerpoints) with new ones (approximately 20, some double, some single) add a new power point in one room (there's no power in this room but there is a powerpoint in the next room just near where this one needs to go) remove one light switch which seems to serve no purpose, hang a new pendant light in the entrance hall, replace a single powerpoint with a double power point. Also want to check power to the shed which is no longer working (may decide not to put power back in here but just want to see what could possibly be done).

Came promptly and gave a competitive quote (slightly more than another quote but with better materials). We didn't go with this business because of timing but wished we had have after the other guy completely mucked us around. Wouldn't hesitate to call him in the future.
Cerberus electrical services
Came out, quoted- a low quote so we agreed to go with him. Made 3 possible times for him to come and do the work then didn't hear from him. Then when we contacted him about when he was coming to do the work he said - oh sorry- I've got other jobs that I need to finish so I'm not coming any more. We've now wasted several weeks on an urgent job because he couldn't be bothered doing it or telling us that he had changed his mind. I know it was only a small job but why bother quoting?
