Electricity Meter upgrade - to correspond with new installed solar panels

I have just had a solar panel system installed and have been advised that the current electricity meter is substandard to what is needed for the solar panels.
The physical cable from the pole to the house (approx 8m with the pole on the same side of the street as the house) needs upgrading from a 60w cable to a 100w. This will also entail a change of the meter box itself.
The solar installers will return to finalise their part of the change after the meter has been upgraded.
