SCOPE –
1. Cool Room –
a. 3 phase outdoor condensing unit mounted on external roof immediately above the cool room.
i. 16 amps per phase.
ii. See attached Kirby Polar pack brochure for more info.
b. 2 x 1amp, single phase evaporators with fans.
i. Fans are pre-wired to a junction box.
c. 3 x internal bunker style lights with 24watt compact fluro.
i. Purchase from Bunnings or similar for about $25 each.
ii. Fitting: Crompton EX7200AW, caged, white. http://www.crompton.com.au/catalog/trade/luminaires/exterior-bunkers-wall-lights/bunkers/p/products/ex7200-carlton-series-large)
iii. Bulb: Cool daylight, 24watt, E27 screw in. Phillips TND24WCDLES. http://www.electricalproducts.com.au/tornado-spiral-24-w-125-w-e27-cool-daylight.html (Woolworths sells the warm white version for less than $10.)
iv. 2 x 2 way switching, located inside the room at the opening of each entry door. Switch to have neon indicator, to be on when lights are off.
d. 3 x Glass door inserts. (Pre-wired with 2m wiring tails to go into conduit and J box.)
i. Lights: 3.5amps.
ii. Frame Heaters: 6amps.
e. Electronic controller mounted on the back of the freezer case, to control solenoid above valve mounted on the roof above the evaporator.
f. Sub-mains to sub-board. (Max run 18m.)
g. Circuits for the above (Can run from Condensing unit on roof to fixtures or from MSB) –
i. Condensing unit 20amp, 3 phase sub mains. (Breaker provided by builder in sub-board.)
ii. Lights, fans & Control, 10amp breaker – 6amps.
iii. Door Heaters – 10amp breaker – 6amps.
2. Freezer Case –
a. Single phase, 5amp unit.
i. Wire though provided junction box.
ii. Connect 3 terminals on safety controller. (HP/LP switch)
iii. Mounted on external roof immediately above the case.
b. Evaporator in Case –
i. 1 x 1amp, single phase evaporators with fans. (Fans are pre-wired to a junction box.)
ii. 1 x 30watt drain heater in evaporator.
iii. 1 x 4amp, single phase, defrost heater in evaporator, switched by the electronic controller mounted on the rear of the freezer case.
c. Electronic controller mounted on the back of the freezer case.
i. To control solenoid above valve mounted on the roof above the evaporator.
d. 1 x 2 Glass door insert. (Pre-wired with 2m wiring tails to go into conduit and J box.)
i. Lights: 0.6amps.
ii. Frame Heaters: 2amps.
e. Sub-mains to sub-board. (Max run 18m.)
f. Circuits for the above (Can run from Condensing unit on roof to fixtures or from MSB) –
i. Condensing unit 16amp, 1 phase sub mains. (Breaker provided by builder in sub-board.)
ii. Lights, fans & Control, Defrost, Door Heaters, 16amp breaker – 8amps.
3. Commission electrical and issue certificate/s.
• Supply all necessary electrical equipment and lights.
• Please provide your public liability certificate of currency with your quotation.
• Provide 12 months warranty on your workmanship.
Disconnect and reconnect solar hot water to the smart meter.
The solar hot water is connected to the night rate, and is not working...
