I currently have Cat 5 cable installed throughout the house which is used for internet PC and phone. I wish to connect 3 x TV's to the system to allow browsing and Netflix etc via Fetch, Chrome Cast or other. I currently have installed an Optus cable Modem/Router with 4 x Ethernet ports and a Patch Panel with 5 x ethernet ports in a cabinet with power supply. However the main lounge TV has a separate cable from the Optus street controller box (originally for Optus Cable TV) and is not near an existing ethernet port (distance is approx 18 mtrs from the Modem/Patch panel cabinet on the ground floor). I require tech support to design/install the most efficient non WiFi solution (don't like WiFi performance issues).
