Suction is very low. Too low to turn bristles on carpet cleaner head. We are new owners of house and the system may not have been serviced for some years. Suction is very low. Not sure how old the system is but it has suddenly stopped working. there are 2 ducts in the house and the system is under the house but easy to access. Suction was low, cleaned the canister as usual, replaced all items as many times before. turned on the switch and thought it sounded louder and then it seemed to get even louder. assumed all was... Suction was low, cleaned the canister as usual, replaced all items as many times before. turned on the switch and thought it sounded louder and then it seemed to get even louder. assumed all was ok until we tried to use the hose inside and discovered it was not sucking well. checked the canister again.. still no better, tried all outlets, no better. plenty of suction at the canister flap and at all other outlets when one is in use (trying to be used).
