I am a parent of a student that attends Beerburrum State School. The school has recently developed an environment management and sustainability plan to help the school educate students about sustainability.
One of the methods to fund our plans to teach the children was to apply for the Stephanie Alexander Grant. We were successful in this grant - something that we are excited about as we can now work towards building a kitchen and dining area that students can utilise to prepare the crops they harvest into meals they can dine upon. The school principal and I have the responsibility to organise the quotes for the construction.
We have decided to convert a 3 bay shed into a kitchen/dining and pantry.
We have rough plans of the shed and measurements and we have rough plans of the design layout we would like. These need to be drafted into a useable version.
