We are planning to build a pergola, the council has said there should be no problem getting a permit, but we need to organise the following in order to gain a permit;
he guy i spoek to at the council has asd for the following;
- site covergage and site permitablilty
- timber sizes (raes, battens and posts)
- down pipe locations
- connection details (to dwelling, beams to posts and posts to the ground)
- all fixing to be galvansied steel or class 3
- all timber to be minimum of H3/treated
- block dimensions (which are 18m wide and 35 long with a 2m easement along the back and also the right hand side of the property)
basically it is going to be a flat roof with clear colorbond sheeting.
