Our apartment is on top floor of a three level building and We have 5m+ ceilings with a closed in void above the study leading off the lounge room. We'd like to add some stairs and a floor. Loadbaring framing would be needed as currently that room has a suspended ceiling and light wall framing. Floor size would be approx 4m x 7m. Roof tapers downward, suggest stairs at the highest point. We have some idea what we would like to see but need a professional draftsman to help with the design and project management. Expect draftsman to advise what minimum level of approval or involvement body corporate/council would need to have.
