We are looking to have our front screen door upgraded to a steel security door.
Our current door has extruded aluminium which has sharp holes in it where our dog has ripped it to shreds.
We want a stronger new door that offers better security and is dog proof.
In the summer we have often wanted to leave the door open, but the door offers no security.
I had a strong steel door in my previous house that had pins in the hinges and was solid with a good lock.
We have a disabled person living here so need to be able to unlock the door from the inside without a key. Our current lock is from my previous house and has a double locking feature with a knob on the inside.
Our house is owned by a trust held by the Senior Master's Office at the Supreme Courts and we require 3 quotes for approval.
We already have approval, just need some quotes.
