Kitchen fireplace/chimney breast removed from ground floor art deco apartme

Lynda requested 3 quotes from Demolition Experts in St Kilda

Hi, I own a ground floor art deco apartment in St Kilda. The block has five apartments on the ground - five on the first floor. There is an old chimney breast in the kitchen which takes up space 1700mm long x 450mm wide x 2900 high. I would like to renovate the kitchen and if this breast was removed - it would double the space and make the kitchen very modern. Although I recognise its importance back in the day - today it is monolithic and I would like it removed. It is likely because the apartment is 100 plus years old you will need a structural engineer to approve and take a look, plus remove upstairs chimney and chimney stack for safety.
