Need a slab in total to fit under a pergola 11m x 3.6m. There is a current slab in excellent condition about 6m x 3m. Happy to have new cement joining the old with a new finish on the old to match the new. Small amount of land to be dug out to fit the slab (less than 1m square). Easy access to site through drive-thru garage and/or fence panel removal.
Completely understand the concept of join marks and possible cracking when concreting over the top of the old slab. Would prefer coloured concrete. Depending on quote of the job, additional pathways along the edge of the house may also be considered.
