We had planned to remove the driveway step all together but that was going to be problematic. A builder had tried; removing tiles is super easy but the concrete underneath it was not. There is no services inside the concrete to my knowledge but of course best to check before letting the jack rip. There is a small water pipe and vent at the end of the step but that is plain to see. step would be about 2.3m long x 20cm deep. suspect a couple hours would be needed in order to leave it nice and neat. I will attached 4 pictures which will help.
