There is currently a concrete area adjoining the exterior of the house that extends to the rear lawn. It is approximately 8.7m long and 2.4m wide.
We're looking at extending the width of this slab away from the house so it will still be 8.7m long but now 4.1m wide. Essentially, we're looking at seamlessly making the existing slab around 1.7m wider. This will be an area for chairs and a table so it won't require a depth of more than 10 cm. There is existing pipework under the grass so careful excavation will be required.
