I have had a quote for a 50sq slab 100mm thick . $3000 access is good , foundation already has crush rock from myself leveling and raising the ground a couple years ago . I also want to rise it a further 50mm before new slab goes down to give me a flush finish from the entrance . It would need to be cut after to prevent any stress fractures , as I had a concreter a week ago pour me a 20sq slab for my shed and a week later had 4 cracks entirely through the slab . It's 75mm thick , could have he had his mix to dry to save on cost or should have he cut the slab at that size ? His quality of finish was ok but has left me with low spots and slab running out 10mm wider and causing it not to be square !! Very disappointing and understand nothing can be done now its down . So I'd like a new quote and concreter for the next slab ! I want it to be a terracotter colour . Now I am a plumber and have aggy and a channel grate going in next door as its a low area and have my neighbour wanting to also pour a larger slab with gradient to my channel grate and marrying it up to a pre existing slab landscaping and exsisting footpath would have to be taken away also , and a possiablitly of the next house down wanting a slab . * 2 jobs garrentee and possiably a 3rd if work is good ! my slab and next door wanting the job done ASAP before Christmas if possiable , I'm sure with the amount of work avaliable that someone could quote me better than $3000 and a garentee of quality work
