This is the series of events that brought it to this point. The sound kept stopping, and had to constantly do troubleshooting then rebooting. This process I would do, but the sound issue would happen immediately until the unit froze when booting and to when the Lenovo Logo appeared and just sat there. There was no sound of movement from inside and when I pushed the power button, it shut down straight away, usually when it shut down you could hear the systems and hardware shutting off. I turned it back on, and it did boot, but took ages. Then a message came up as a reminder to change the pin to logon, so I did that. Then when playing a video, of which I was watching until the sound had once again ceased, the video slowed to almost a frame by frame pace, with the image pixelated and with large areas going black. I stopped the video and right-clicked on the start icon, to restart the unit. But got no response, it wouldn't respond to shut down, sleep or sign out. I tried the external power button and got the same result. I then pulled the power cord out, put it back in and pushed the power button. Slowly it booted up, but at the sign in, a message came up, an error has occurred, and the last pin change was not saved, click the forgot password to reset. Only thing was that the reset box to click was greyed out. So I tried rebooting, in hope it would correct that, and that is when the unit finally died.

I have just set up a home office with 2 computers networked and am having networking issues which may or may not be causing the Outlook issues. Connection keeps dropping out, emails not being sent...
