Our puppy got hold of a fray edge of carpet and managed to pull the whole corner up and destroy the underlay underneath. The carpet was ripped up from a wall edge and the metal strip over the tile... Our puppy got hold of a fray edge of carpet and managed to pull the whole corner up and destroy the underlay underneath. The carpet was ripped up from a wall edge and the metal strip over the tile / carpet edge. Put back most of the carpet reaches back underneath the metal strip but the carpet is now noticeably at least 1cm away from the wall (approx. 61cm wall edge). There is a straight 25cm rip down the carpet now too (it may have been where two sections of carpet were joined but there's no visible join line). A section of underlay also need to be replaced - approx. 45 * 25cm. We would like this repaired if possible and are not in a position to replace the carpet.
