I'm looking to install a flat roof style verandah roof (prefer clear roof) and decking over my existing courtyard. the current deck is a concrete. i live in a 6 months old apartment unit (1st floor, with another unit underneath my decking area below). there are gutter along the courtyard area for water run off. the area is approximately 100 sq feet (3m x 3m). for the decking, i prefer timber decking (if possible) using merbau. if not possible, i am also open for tiles option. reason for choosing timber decking is because i have timber floor board in my apartment. i also need the tradesman to assist with the building and town planning permit application (including design drawing work). the job will also include leveling of the courtyard floor to assist in water runoff. i prefer polycarbonate roofing that can block 99% of harmful uv rays but i am also open for other options. i need a licensed, good quality tradesman for this job.
