A steel supporting upright in our carport, which is below the main part of the house needs to be replaced as it is rusted at the bottom. shouldn't need a permit, it is just a straight forward ,jack the structure up, remove and set the pole in new concrete (with a cover to stop it rusting again). depending on the price i may get you to replace the other poles which will probably end up going the same way.
