Replace glass in bathroom window and rotted timber window panel

The window is a double timber framed window with nine panels in each window. I would like the standard glass that is currently there replaced with opaque/ bathroom glass so I can get rid of the blinds that are currently there and let more light in. I am not sure whether the bathroom glass can be fitted in the current timber windows or whether the windows need replacing altogether. There is also some rotted timber on one of the frames around the window that needs to be replaced
