Repair of doors

Worst decision ever to hire this person, I was ripped off, shoddy workmanship, took zero pride in his work. All new doors were either poorly hung, hinges out of place, or had old screws in them, some doors even have missing screws! He butchered door frames and did not even patch up all the holes, and when he couldn’t hang a door he moved it to the opposite side leaving holes in the frame on the opposite side!! He left a used paint roller on my veranda and paint marks were left on the veranda, he did not clean up, all areas where he worked had mess, he did not action items agreed in the quote, and whilst I received a small $95 refund for items he said he completed but when I checked he hadn’t. He did not fix garage lights as agreed and also charged $800 to hang two wooden doors and used a cheap $40 door and didn’t even replace the second door! In my laundry he used cheap melamine with chips and scratches on it, and the piece he used was not big enough so he put a piece of wood on the corner which looks terrible! he brought $9 door knobs for my house and garage doors and left me with 9 keys, I had to get someone in after who to fix his mess and this person could not believe there are people out there like that, he stole my old front door handle that was actually good quality and just played dumb as to its whereabouts when he was the only person there, instead he replaced it with a pathetic cheap lock, he left no latch on garage door! AND the garage door does not even close!! Amateur!! Considering the $4000 he was paid in good faith, he basically took the money and used the cheapest quality he could find, and he got the job done as quick as possible, he was always claiming to be in a rush to finish, and was quick to blame his workers for errors. He insisted all his work is warrantied, when I pulled him up on that he made zero meaningful effort to repair his pathetic so called work. It’s a shame you can’t upload photos on here I would show everyone the poor job! I’m happy to send them to anyone who wants them! Give people and inch and they take a mile… Life lesson people… DO NOT USE THIS PERSON. He must have got his licence in this industry from a cereal box.
