We have just purchased a house that his has floorboards throughout. in one area (and only after we put furniture in) if you walk in one area there is a pronounced vibration that rattles through the cupboards. the floor seems solid and doesn't seem to bounce but is slightly springy. as a nonexpert is seems like a slight warp has developed in the wood which, when flattened by the furniture or us walking on it, sends vibrations out
