Re-building of Front portico roof. Inspection required prior to pricing.
Work requires the careful removal of the existing metal tray roof (to be re-installed & re-used, once new portico built).
Cut-out or detailed demolition of existing (rotting) timber portico framing & then re-construction of new timber portico identical to the old portico. New timber to be pre-primed. Cuts/joins in timber to be touched-up with primer at conclusion.
Existing steel posts may be re-used for new structure.
Care to be taken not to disturb any existing electrical wiring (as house has just been re-wired).
care to be taken to ensure that existing house structure or cladding is not disturbed.
Existing metal roof tray to be re-installed to correct functionality at conclusion (ie portico roof must be to falls & drain correctly).
Portico must be structurally sound at conclusion of works.
