Hi,
i have an exisitng carport which needs the following work done as some of the wooden components are rotting/damaged. i am looking at replacing these components and ensuring that the structure is safe.
i am looking for a licensed carpenter.
what needs to be done:
- two wooden post needs to be replaced.
- three to five beams of various strength/thickness/length needs to be replaced.
- carport has iron sheet roof so i am assuming some of those need to be ripped up for this job and then resecured.
- an additional post needs to be added where the carport garage door is. at the moment the weight of the garage door is on a beam on one side. i am replacing my garage door too so i need a additional post on which the garage door can be secured.
- timber fascia at the front of the carport is rooting and it needs to be replaced.
given the right price & quality of work, i am ready to start asap.
