Carpenter to determine issue with roof trusses

The area between where the house and garage has some abnormal cracks in the plasterboard. I suspect it is due to some issues within the roof (potentially not enough bracing) which is causing that area to move abnormally. The roof is not a truss roof. I need someone to check what the issue is and quote on the fix.
