We need an external glass door. The doorway has to be cut through the wall which is corrugated iron on the outside (modern colour bond type). The inside walls which were built in 1942, are painted hessian and (I would think) are hardboard beneath this.
There is a shelf at dado height which runs around the wall and it is wooden with a metal edge. This would also need to be cut through. We are a community organisation and this is for our art gallery to create a side door into a sculpture garden. The building looks to be level with the outside ground.
