Build decking for front verandah and for backyard

The front verandah area is approx. 11m x 2m (including two bay windows and 4 verandah pillars along the 11m length). I am looking at decking (hardwood such as blackbutt) designed for aesthetics, practicality and not impeding termite inspections. The backyard decking size would be approx. 5m x 2.5m without pillars etc impeding design. I do have a current Service Central landscaping job relating to these areas, but it appears decking may be the best alternative for the verandah and the one section of backyard and, for decking work, a builder would likely be a better option.
