First, we need an existing doorway filled in, and a new frame created (for a sliding door which we will be installing ourselves). The old frame has a light switch on it which will need to be relocated on to the new frame.
- Secondly, we need a 3600mm load bearing wall (structural engineer has previously advised) to be removed, and a hanging beam installed in its place. This wall has 1 light switch and 2 powerpoints, which need to be relocated, and a gas heater to be completely removed. The means the services of an electrician and a gas fitter/plumber will be required at the same time.
