we have an existing raised deck, which currently has steps leading down to ground level. the area is currently dirt at the base of the deck. we want to add an l shaped deck (3 x 3m) at ground level at the base of the steps and built around the steps. this means the top of the new deck can only be about 25cm off the ground, to align with the lowest step. the actual area to be decked will be 3 x 3 minus the 1.5m square taken up by the existing steps themselves. the work must be completed by december 9.
