We are upgrading our oven and rangehood and need some modifications to be made to our benchtops and cabinetry in order to accomodate the larger rangehood and oven.
The kitchen is a flatpack construction with blackwood doors and a lamintated benchtop. The oven and range are builtin (see photos)
The rangehood we intend to install is a Schweigan 90cm canopy rangehood and the oven is a Beling 900mm freestanding dual-fuel oven
Scope of the project:
1. Remove the existing 60cm inbuilt oven and electric cooktop
2. Remove drawers adjacent to oven and resize drawers (make them narrower) and cabinets to accomodate larger 90cm freestanding oven
3. Cut benchtop to accomodate larger 90cm freestanding oven
4. Surface benchtop edges and exposed cabinetry sides
5. Surface exposed floor area where new 90cm freestanding oven will sit
6. Remove existing 60cm rangehood
7. Cut tiled area where existing 60cm rangehood is installed to make room for new 90cm rangehood
8. Fit rangehood
9. Install ducting and extraction fan to exterior of roof area as per product instructions
Other notes
We want to keep the existing tiles around the back and side walls of the oven area (happy to lose the tiles on the top where the range is fitted).
Intent is to install the rangehood extraction fan on the NTH facing gable of the roof under the eve to keep it out of the rain (cedar cladding) but open to other suggestions if there's a more practical way
Successful bidder will be selected based on value for money, experience with this kind of work and availability to complete the job.
There is no need to do any electrical or gas plumbing work - we can engage separate contractors to complete those tasks - however if you are licensed and able to do this work also this would be a bonus.
