I have a "nook" in my lounge room that I would like a built-in bookcase built. The measurements of the nook are H 2,500mm x W 1,875mm x D 575mm. It doesn't have to be as deep as that, but that's just the dimensions there. I don't want to spend a fortune on it, and I want it to be off-white so it doesn't have to be good quality wood. Even something like melamine would do for the shelves and sides. But I want the top to have a nice moulded capping and skirting board at the bottom.
