We have submitted the Building Certificate Application to the area previous home owner did extension and convert garage. The council has requested us to do the work of following.
- The works to convert the garage and rear verancah to a bedroom/living area have been completed without providing adequate waterproofing to the subfloor and wall linings to enable compliance with the provisions of the Building Code of Australa and Australian Standard AS 1684
- There is no evidence of compliance with BCA Part 3.7.1.5 with regard to fire rating the bedroom wall that is located within 900mm of the eastern property boundary. (Garage Convert section)
