  Please find below a detail list of the repair method:-

•
Removal of sliding door units ( 9 in total ) and two ( 3 ) full height window units.
•
Any sliding door unit or window unit that is removed will be temporarily boarded up until rectification works are completed for re-installation.
•
Removal of terra-cotta tiled sill threshold across the width of the sliding door \ window units.
•
Removal of damaged gyprock and skirting boards that are affected from the water damage.
•
Prepare and clean sub-surface floor areas of where tiled sill thresholds are removed prior to water proofing membrane works.
•
Application of Davco Ultra-prime primer.
•
Application of two ( 2 ) coats of Davco K10 polyurethane acyrilic membrane with Gripset 100mm wide bandage to any 90 degree junctions of balcony step downs.
•
Installation of powder coated ( black colour ) aluminum angles ( 40mm x 20mm ) to both the internal and external sides of the sliding door \ window units when re-installation takes place. These angles will be fixed and sealed in position as an extra prevention for any water entry penetrating from wind driven rain.
•
As installation of each sliding door \ window unit takes place, 300mm wide aluminum damp course flashing will be installed to the sill bases which will lap over the water proofing membrane and folded up behind the internal sill face.
•
A water test will be conducted 24Hrs after each sliding door \ window unit is installed.
•
Supply and install terra-cotta tiles to sill thresholds to sliding door \ window units. ( tiles to match as close as possible to existing )
•
Supply and install gyprock plaster board to internal areas. Gyprock will be base coated \ top coated and sanded ready for painting.
•
Supply and install skirting boards to match existing, to where existing skirting boards were removed.
•
Painting to new gyprock plaster board works and timber skirting boards.
•
All carpet and floor tiled areas to be covered with cover drop sheets.
•
All site clean ups and building debris to be removed from site by the builder.
