We are looking at costings to partially remove a structural wall between our kitchen and lounge area. The lounge is higher than the kitchen so therefore steps will need to be created to step down into the kitchen. Also there is a floor to ceiling beam that is aparently structural in our lounge that we would also possibly like to remove. I have put in up to $10k in price range but I have really no idea what this will cost considering the permits etc.
