I need to take down a nib wall from the kitchen because I want to extend it... that nib wall is supporting 2 small wooden bars from the roof truss... A carpenter is telling me that he can take down the wall and support the truss with a horizontal beam, but since he doesnt have the building licence; I need the services of a builder to oversee it all so that support of truss is under regulations. If you have your own carpenter/helper I am more than willing to get the whole thing done by you as well.
