In April 2012 a polycarbonate roof covering an enclosed room and a deck area was damaged by hail.
An insurance claim is in progress to replace the damaged polycarbonate roof.
Note: Existing hail damaged polycarbonate roofing and asbestos sheet to be removed by Rattenbury Roofing (Shane Rattenbury, 0400 170 773, Engadine) on insurance work.

Existing roof line has two gradients.
Maintain existing orientation and direction of roof, but increase the fall gradient by lifting the level of battens and rafters. New roof structure to allow corrugated steel sheets finished in Colorbond to slot under existing unglazed terracotta roof tiles.
New roof line to have continuous fall from tiles to existing extremity.
Corrugated steel sheets are to be supplied and fitted to roof structure by Rattenbury Roofing as per work allocation made as part of insurance claim.
Roof design shall meet all applicable standards and requirements, including Building Code of Australia requirements, sarking to prevent condensation moisture ingress, and insulation using R3.5 glass wool batts to be fitted.
