We exepect the plans to be out of council within 2 weeks.
We seek a licenced builder, preferably within the general area or (easy drive) of Normanhurst.
The building works involves providing a second floor extension that makes good use of the existing attic space and converting a flat roofed section to a tiled gable roof containing the new upstairs rooms/ bathrooms. The house is currently a single level 1920's Federation double brick.
The scope is summarised in 2 stages as follows:
Stage 1:
• Provide 2 bedrooms plus bathroom, toilet suite and rumpus room upstairs
• The federation style of the house to be maintained.
• Southern chimney to be re-flashed and re-rendered to suit new gable angle and height.
• Northern Chimney was removed to below the ridge capping in the ‘70’s; this ‘top’ section to be rebuilt.
• Internal stairs
• Toilet suite ‘adjacent’ to these new stairs
Stage 2:
• Ground floor Ensuite off main bedroom with walk in robe
