Jim requested 3 quotes from Builders in Boat Harbour Beach
Note the house is located at SISTERS BEACH in Tasmania but my contact details are for QLD where I am lving.
House is on wooden stumps and is uneven so needs to be restumped. I would also like advice of the viability and broad costs where possible of further works including:
a. raising the house to a level that would allow it to be substantiated underneath at a later date;
b. any repairs necessary to ensure the long term structural integrity of the building;
c. renovations that would include an internal staircase, re-roofing, balcony, bathroom, and insertion of a sliding door on the North side of the house where the dining area window is;
d. initial advice re flood mitigation works as I would not like to spend money on such a renovation only to have it ruined by flooding;
e. council, engineering, soil testing architectural and other fees and approval processes for both the simple re-stumping and repairs/renovations as described above; and
f. any other relevant matters that I may not be aware of.
