Single storey brick terrace house: Install 2 temporary acrow or RMD props either side of the wall, demolish wall between rooms, remove roof sheet, install strutting beam (190x45 F17 KDHW or 200x45 Hyspan with 75mm end bearing on brick side walls, fix beam to ceiling hanging beams, replace damaged timber roof members and roof sheeting also needs replacing where damaged. Structural Engineer has prepared report and specifications - Contractor is required to obtain building permit.
