i am building a decking approx 40m2 and a pergola to cover approx 30m2. i have located a builder however i need all the plans and permits required to build this deck and pergola. the deck is down along one side of the house and there are no easements under the deck. the deck will stretch from the house to within about 1m of the fence and the deck sits about 1m off the ground at one end due to a sloping block. this new deck will replace an older deck that is approximately half the size. all i require are all the palns and permits required to build this deck/pergola in the knox (ferntree gully 3156) area legally, thanks
