I need to find a cost effective meathod to rebuild or replace a 6 mtr long (old) garage brick wall. its foundations have sunken due to dry weather and its leaning on neighbours brick carport. access is from one side only, (inside garage). i would like to investigate the possibility of just dismantling the top half of the wall and then rebuilding it straight from there. this would allieviate the need to dig a new foundation, and keep the cost down. our long term plan is to eventually knock the garage down and rebuild it entirely in another location, so i dont want to spend more money than i have to just to make it safe and the keep the neighbor happy. i am happy to clean and re use the old bricks if that will reduce costs.
