The new carport will need a door fitted to the front using the automatic door opener fitted to the current carport and one side needs to be enclosed (we are open to suggestions). To do this we are planning on having the back and the right hand wall bricked up, and then putting a roller/tilt door on the front (unless there are better suggestions). the carport is attached to the house with the left hand side being brick and the ceiling forms part of the roof line. we have got a copy of the original building plans for the house. we are wanting to have the job completed as soon as possible and have made some enquiries already including finding out if we find a bricklayer that is certified and has their own insurance then the building surveyor will help us with the rest.
