I need a builder to remove a wall pillar.

There is a free-standing wall pillar in a home that houses a fridge. It has 3 sides and one open side for the fridge to fit in. I wish to remove the wall pillar and would like to know the cost of removing that wall pillar. I am not sure if the wall pillar has any load-bearing function and would need the builder to check that as well.
