We are looking to extend from the back of our house adding a new living room and kitchen and a large deck. Our house is a postwar home about 1 meter off the ground. The plans are drawn and ready to go, we've also had soil tests etc. we have been trying to get this extension done since October last year and now we would just like to get everything started as soon as possible. We have been approved by our bank, they are just waiting on a written quote from a builder so we can get the loan amount drawn up. We have had many builders look at the plans and give verbal quotes, however no written quotes have been received yet and they seem to be taking a long time to come in.
