Fix the sunken floor/sub floor

There are two rooms in the house and for both of them there is one corner that the floor is sunken and lower than the ground level. Owner says there need a little work to put a little bit support(eg a brick) there in subfloor to raise it up and make it back to normal. I have taken a few photos of the floors and I can get the acess to the house after after 11 of Jan.
I wonder if this is a job of fixing the floor itself or a type of job for builder or handy man
