I would like to get a quote to convert the inside of my brick garage into an office studio, which would basically be getting some framework on the existing brick walls and some dividing walls and ceiling. I would like to include a small kitchenette and toilet in this renovation, which I already have my own preferred plumber, electrician and plasterer for. I already have some ideas, but also need a quote on how much it would cost to replace the tin roof with a pitched roof, and possibly have it adjoining the roofline of the house that the garage is attached to. A builder who can organise council permits for the new roof would be preferred.
As a separate job, I'd also like to enquire about converting/replacing the car port in front of the garage into a new garage, which I understand would not fall within the approximtae budget I included with my enquiry.
