This replaces previous job # 273180 with correct job location and some minor updates.
Need to replace 2 segments of front garden fence:
• Removal of fence debris from car collision
• • Demolition and removal of remaining fence
• • Site preparation for replacement fence, including concrete footing
• • Supply and construction of replacement fence:
- Two runs from a corner, each approximately 10.5m long with a ~90cm opening for a hinged gate
- Rendered brick fence – 1 brick width wide to match neighbors
- ~60cm high above ground level, footing below ground level
- Support pillars (~90cm high) at mid-runs, corner, and either side of gate openings
• Supply and installation of two wrought-iron hinged gates:
- Approximately 90cm wide by 60cm tall (same height at wall structure)
- Similar style to what was there previously and in keeping with neighbors
- Simple latches to keep gates closed
• 2 Compartments in one brick column to provide a mail slot and newspaper receptacle, including hardware
• Paint the new fence to match existing fence wall (South)
- Sealing & Undercoat & 2 finish coats of Dulux outdoor paint with custom tint
This is a replacement due to car collision. First tell me if you think it can be simply repaired. I think that the existing wall is too old and out of plumb to tie-in with a new portion. But I’d like to have your opinion to share with the insurance company.
