We are looking to build an extension to our existing brick fence. We currently have a brick fence running along the front of our property (approx 60cm high). We would like to increase the height of the fince, by building pillars along the top of the fence, and installing square wooden palings in between the pillars. We currently live in a residential zone 1 with a heritage overlay. The total length of the fence would be approximately 20m, with up to 5 or 6 pillars to be built.
