Concrete footings will be done by others perviously to ensure site is ready for the block work.
Standard brick of any color will do, as the finish is required to be a basic rough style, for a fine rendered paint will be applied to the surface by others later.
Access to site is good, as it is a new build on a vacant block with no other dwellings around each side
